The Landscape series explores and maps our internal and external environments. Our fragility and our resilience. Each cup is unique. It is hand made using a slipcast technique with Southern Ice Porcelain which is fired to a high temperature to give a translucency to the cup when held up to the light. This cup is hand carved and handpainted, glazed with a clear glaze. It has a middle green porcelain glazed slip section with painted upper and lower areas. Real gold lustre is applied in the final third firing. It is not microwave or dishwasher safe and should be hand washed.
